Light Industrial Estimator

Our client is seeking a Light Industrial Estimator to lead preconstruction efforts and help secure new projects throughout the region. Client Details A respected Chicagoland general contractor specializing in light industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and logistics projects. The company has experienced significant growth and maintains a strong backlog of repeat clients. Description Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates for industrial projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids. Conduct quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis. Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives. Participate in client meetings and project handoffs. Profile 3+ years of estimating experience with a GC. Experience estimating warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, or similar projects. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods. Proficiency with estimating software and Excel. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
