Start: As soon as credentialed
Schedule: Monday-Thursday and Friday ;
No weekends or call
EMR: EPIC
Position Requirements & Details:
- Certification as a NP/PA
- 2+ years experience in Oncology
Addition Details:
- Comprehensive Cancer Center with Medical and Radiation Oncology services
- QOPI certification and CoC accreditation
- Oncology Pharmacist and Infusion Center in the department
- Nurse Navigator, Case Management, Registered Dietician and Rehab Services support
- Close partnership with UNMC and collaborate to offer Genetic Counseling, Surgical Oncology and Thoracic Oncology Outreach clinics
- Patient population includes solid tumor oncology, also benign and malignant hematology, but we don t manage induction chemotherapy or bone marrow transplant patients.
- Would assist with inpatient rounding we are consulting service only, not admitting providers. Inpatient volume tends to be low at 1-4 cases/week.
- Typical APP patient load is 8-9/day while assisting with call. If not on call would typically see 9-11/day
