Hospital is adding 2 BE/BC Hem Onc physicians to their team as they prepare for retirements. Currently 2 Locums are covering. Hospital Employed Opening due to retirement & growth Coverage: 1:4 (primarily critical labs) Leading edge clinical trials Support staff: 2 NP's and 2 RN navigators plus a MA and scribe Hospitalist Team on staff Affiliated with Oregon Health & Sciences University OHSU Knight Cancer Network High caliber, collegial, outstanding nurse infusion team N e w 19 chair infusion room Onsite mixing pharmacy Nurse navigation Radiation oncology onsite 8 hour days 4 days in clinic and 1 admin day, can be 5 days in clinic if preferred No inpatient consults, outpatient clinic visits and collaboration with infusion 95 % solid tumor, most heme is referred out due to number of solid tumor referrals Clinic 450 n e w patient consults / year 6,600 follow up visits 8,000 infusion/injection visits. Daily: 2-3 n e w consults / physician doc, 13 follow ups. Capturing 80 % of oncology referrals in catchment area Level III Trauma Center and has an accredited Cardiovascular Imaging Center, Cancer Center, Sleep Study Center, Radiology and Mammography Imaging program and Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery program.
