CDL A Details
- Schedule: FLOATER start time varies, MUST be open to ALL shifts, Monday - Friday schedule, Average 45 to 55 hours per week
- Pay: $33.26 Per Hour, + $2,000 Sign-on Bonus, $1,600 - $1,700 Estimated weekly pay
- Route Type: Local deliveries to Upstate NY/New England areas (NYC is a rare possibility)
- Freight / Load Type: Automotive parts
- Equipment: Automatic Transmissions, 48' & 53' Trailers
- Handling: Touch freight, Manual pallet jack/ hand cart unload
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: None
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Safely operate CLD A equipment on local routes
- Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including manual pallet jack/hand cart unload
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable
