Overview


  • Support multidisciplinary teams within the Power Providers Market Sector delivering Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects.




  • Contribute to electrical design for duct banks, cable trays, grounding, lighting, and other systems supporting APG facilities.




  • Produce highquality 2D/3D electrical design deliverables using Bentley MicroStation and related Bentley tools.




  • Lighting design experience with AGI32 preferred (not required).




Required Skills


  • Minimum 5 years related electrical drafting/design experience.




  • Diploma or Certificate required.




  • Strong experience with Bentley MicroStation(link removed)>



  • Experience with:




    • 3D modeling of equipment




    • Duct bank design




    • Cable tray design




    • Grounding systems




    • Lighting systems (preferred but not required)






Preferred Qualifications


  • Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Technology preferred.




  • AGI32 lighting design experience preferred.




  • Familiarity with Bentley toolsets for APG environments.




Job Summary


  • Function in a project engineering technician capacity supporting electrical design teams.




  • Develop and modify technical deliverables for APG projects.




  • Apply foundational engineering principles to create moderately complex design solutions.




  • Use CAD/BIM/3D modeling tools to maintain accurate drawings and documentation.




  • Provide technical guidance to other technicians as needed.




Key Responsibilities


  • Apply standards, codes, departmental guides, and COMPANY procedures.




  • Review project requirements and determine correct deliverable formats.




  • Ensure consistency and compliance with projectspecific codes and standards.




  • Perform design calculations, material quantities, and estimates.




  • Review and coordinate design inputs with other disciplines.




  • Support field activities when required.




  • Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
