District and The Knox Apartments are seeking a professional Full-time leasing Consultant to join their team in Bloomington, MN. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for representing the community to prospective residents, leasing apartment homes, and providing exceptional customer service to current and future residents. This role focuses on achieving occupancy and revenue goals by effectively marketing the community, conducting property tours, executing leases, and fostering positive resident relationships. The ideal candidate is sales-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced property environment. Working Hours: Typically, FT38, Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Property office hours may vary from property to property. You may be asked to flex your schedule to meet the demands of the business. Benefits: Health, Flexible Spending Account, Dental, Vision, Life, ADD, LTD, STD, Critical Illness, Accident, and 401(K). 9 Paid Holidays Generous PTO accruals Key Responsibilities Leasing & Sales ActivitiesMaintain current knowledge of apartment availability, pricing, floor plans, and community featuresGreet prospective residents in person, by phone, and electronicallyAssess prospects' needs and present appropriate housing optionsConduct property and apartment tours, highlighting amenities and featuresAccurately complete guest cards and maintain prospect data in the property management systemFollow up with prospects in a timely manner and maintain consistent sales follow-throughPrepare and process lease applications and leasing documentation accurately and on timeExplain lease terms, policies, and community rules to new and renewing residents Marketing & Occupancy SupportSupport the community's lease renewal program and maximize resident retentionAssist with preparation of marketing materials, flyers, and outreach effortsPrepare property and move-in packetsMonitor and report leasing activity and trends as requested Resident Relations & Office SupportProvide excellent customer service to residents and visitorsAssist with day-to-day office operations and community activitiesWork closely with the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager to ensure units are ready for move-inAssume responsibility for front office operations when management is off-siteAttend staff meetings and training sessions as required Administrative & Compliance ResponsibilitiesFollow established policies for applicant qualification, screening, and acceptanceMaintain confidentiality of resident, financial, and company informationEnsure compliance with company policies and fair housing requirementsPerform other duties and special projects as assigned Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required 0-2 years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience Strong interpersonal and sales skills with ability to close leases Basic knowledge of leasing practices and customer service principles Proficiency in Microsoft 365; property systems experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment Key CompetenciesSales effectiveness and persuasion Customer service and engagement Communication and interpersonal skills Follow-through and responsiveness Time management and organization Professionalism and adaptabilityRequirements: Compensation details: 22-24 Hourly Wage PI1867efb9c9e5-7901
