Internal Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed :

• Start Date: 09/01/2026
• End Date: 03/31/2027
• Variable shift start/end time: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Clinical Details :

• General practice PCP
• Practice Setting: Clinic
• EMR: Eclinicals (ECW)
• Support Staff: 2 Case Managers, 2 Referral Coordinators, 4 Medical Assistants, 1 Primary Care Providers, 1 Nurse Practitioner and 3 Front Desk Representatives
• Average patients per day: 10-14 pts
• Age range of patient population: 18+, elderly
• Job Duties:
  • Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease
  • Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes

Requirements :

• Will consider non-local providers, and reimburse for travel
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Previous experience in outpatient primary care preferred
• Experience with value-based care and population health management
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably ECW
• Mandatory bilingual: English and Spanish
• DEA License
• Active FL License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Medicare/Medicaid enrollment eligibility
