Job Description:
The University of Texas Health San Antonio (UTHSA) is seeking to add a faculty member to join our diverse and inclusive team in the Department of Ophthalmology as an OCULOPLASTICS Specialist.
Optimal candidates will have:
An established track record of peer-reviewed research, excellence in education, and outstanding clinical service
Completed an ACGME-accredited residency/ fellowship and be board certified or board eligible in the specialty required
Excellent clinical abilities, and outstanding communication skills
Texas medical license or become licensed in Texas and meet all criteria for faculty appointments and credentialing by the faculty practice plan
The salary is competitive and there is a generous benefits package and incentive plan. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with credentials and experience.
UTHSA is located in a large metropolitan area with a 50-county referral base and approximately 2.3 million inhabitants.
