Construction Estimator - High-End Residential Construction
Established custom home builder seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building thorough budgets for custom homes, additions and remodels for distinctive residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate project estimates and budgets for custom residential projects
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Develop quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns
- Assist with value engineering and budget management
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients throughout preconstruction
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of estimating experience in high-end residential construction
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
Compensation:
- Competitive Salary: $70,000-$90,000 annually, based on experience
- Bonus Program: Year end bonus based on company profits and individual performance
