Café 7 Food Partner (Part-Time)

Description: Provides excellent guest service by efficiently handling transactions with guests. Runs register and perform other duties in food service. Under the direction of the Rock City Gardens Food & Beverage Manager, the Café 7 Food Partner is responsible for performing the following duties: Delivers excellent guest service to internal and external customers in line with the organization's mission, culture, and values. Models appropriate guest and partner interaction at all times. Grows sales by Up-Selling. Operates cash register to conduct transactions, including opening and closing procedures and daily deposits. Assists in ensuring temperatures are checked and recorded regularly. Ensures the work area is properly stocked and is kept in clean and organized order. Prepares and serves food. Ensures portion control and food quality to minimize loss. Assists with cleanliness and organization of the dining room, windows, and doors of the restaurant. Restocks items when needed. Assists in ensuring health codes and safety standards are followed in order to maintain a high health score. Prepares and serves non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, following all applicable regulations and policies. Adheres to company policies. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. At least one year of previous experience in food service or related field and willingness to receive training. Possess a kind personality, the desire to contribute to a great team, and a willingness to learn or improve skills. Ability to display a professional, engaging, and polite image to guests and team partners. Ability to speak effectively in one-on-one and small group situations, knowing that your feedback and input are important to the team. Ability to read and understand operational documents. Ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced, efficient environment. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money. Ability to provide a flexible schedule to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Required to use hands and fingers regularly. Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
