We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist for a long-term locum opportunity in South Carolina. This assignment offers consistent weekend call coverage in an acute care hospital serving newborns through adolescents.
Assignment Details

- Long-term weekend coverage
- Coverage at a single hospital
Schedule
- Weekend call coverage
- Friday 3:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM (times negotiable)
- Friday Sunday coverage every week
- 24-hour call
- Three days of call per week
Practice Setting
- Acute Care Hospital
- Pediatric Gastroenterology consult service
- Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Inpatient pediatric gastroenterology consults
- Manage newborn, pediatric, and adolescent patients
- Perform urgent weekend endoscopic procedures as clinically indicated
- X-ray interpretation preferred
Patient Volume
- 8 12 patients per day
Requirements
- Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology or Gastroenterology
- Active South Carolina medical license
- South Carolina DEA & CSR
- BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Epic experience required
Credentialing
- Approximately days with an active South Carolina license
- Approximately 5 months without an active South Carolina license
- Clean background preferred
- IMLC not accepted
