Radiology - Interventional Physician

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Summary: Join a progressive healthcare facility in Bismarck, North Dakota, seeking locum IR coverage. The practice requires a physician experienced in interventional radiology, with stroke capabilities preferred but not mandatory. This opportunity involves an 8-hour workday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., evening call from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m., and 24-hour weekend call.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions including angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
• Execute various interventional procedures such as IVC filters, TIPS, and aspiration/drainage procedures.
• Manage central line placements and catheter insertions.
• Handle pain management and vertebroplasty procedures.
• Participate in patient management in collaboration with nursing and other healthcare professionals.
• Document procedures and maintain patient medical records utilizing EMR (Epic).

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology.
• Completion of an IR residency or fellowship.
• Experience with all required IR procedures.
• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
• Availability at the time of name clearance.

License and Certification Requirements:

• North Dakota State License (highly preferred) or IMLC if ND license is not active.
• Clean NPDB self-query report dated within 30 days of the presentation date.
