Town Manager

Must include Cover Letter and Resumé The Board of Selectmen are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Town Manager to support our team in managing the operations of the Town of Sherman, Maine. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication abilities, working knowledge of office equipment, be detail oriented, and possess a commitment to providing exceptional service. Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Paychex, Financial Management, Contract Management, knowledge of the General Assistance Program and the Freedom of Information Act. This front-facing, customer service-based role will be one of the first to greet customers as they arrive, and one of the last they see before leaving. A warm personality, helpful attitude, and friendly demeanor are all qualities we're seeking. This role is essential in ensuring the Town functions run smoothly and effectively. Some overtime and after hour meetings are MANDATORY Salary to be discussed during interview. Dependent on experience.
