We are working with a facility in Massachusetts seeking Emergency Medicine Physician coverage for ongoing 12-hour shift support. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced EM physicians who prefer night coverage in a rural/community emergency department setting.

Schedule
12-hour shifts
Preferred: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Some days available (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
No call
Nocturnists strongly preferred

Practice Setting
Critical access hospital
25-bed facility
Community / rural environment
Limited onsite specialty support
EMR: Epic

Work Details

Emergency Medicine attending coverage

Patient volume: patients/day

2.5 3 patients/hour

All ages (including 14% pediatrics)

Requirements

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine ONLY (no IM/FP)

Active Massachusetts license required

DEA (Massachusetts) required

ACLS certification required

Minimum 1 year EM experience
