Orthopedics Physician

ATC West is seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Kentucky. This is a call-only position with the potential for recurring coverage, providing care for a diverse patient population in a well-supported hospital setting.

• Location: Kentucky
• Start Date: October 7
• Ongoing coverage potential
• 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
• Emergency orthopedic call with callback
• EPIC electronic medical record
• Adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided

• October 7 (7:00 AM) October 12 (7:00 AM)
• Additional ongoing coverage opportunities available

• Provide 24-hour orthopedic surgery call coverage
• Evaluate and treat orthopedic emergencies
• Perform urgent and emergent surgical procedures, including:
  • Hip nailing procedures
  • Fracture care
  • Treatment of dislocations
  • Hip and knee replacement
  • Hip and knee revision/repair
  • Arthroscopy
  • General orthopedic surgical and non-surgical procedures
  • Management of bone and joint deformities and tumors
  • Spinal surgery (with and without instrumentation)

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Kentucky medical license required (Physicians eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) are encouraged to apply)
• Active DEA
• Current BLS certification
• Experience performing hip nailing procedures
• Experience with hip/knee replacements, revisions, arthroscopy, and general orthopedic surgery
• Ability to cover the requested dates
