Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Special Counsel to join its sophisticated Labor & Employment practice, focusing exclusively on Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) matters. This fully remote, full-time role offers the opportunity to work with a highly regarded employment litigation team handling complex, high-stakes matters for prominent clients across multiple jurisdictions.

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record

  • Active Bar Admission in state of residence, in good standing

  • 8+ years of substantive in employment litigation, with a strong emphasis on EPLI matters

  • Significant experience handling employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination matters

  • Proven ability to manage EPLI cases from inception through resolution

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong advocacy and client-facing capabilities

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a national team

  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling highly sensitive and confidential matters

  • Proven expertise in and openness to utilizing AI-driven and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them effectively to improve efficiency, client service, and the quality of legal work products.



Key Responsibilities


  • Handle a full caseload of EPLI matters, including litigation, mediation, and pre-litigation counseling

  • Represent insureds and insurers in employment-related disputes across state and federal forums

  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement documentation with a high level of precision and strategic insight

  • Advise clients on employment law risk management and litigation strategy

  • Collaborate with attorneys and firm professionals nationwide on complex employment matters

  • Maintain strict compliance with ethical obligations and firm policies regarding confidentiality and sensitive information

Compensation & Benefits


  • Competitive Salary Range: $150,000 $240,000 annually, commensurate with experience, geographic location, and qualifications, plus eligibility for performance-based bonuses
