As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. You will collaborate with lead teachers to implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development. What you'll do

Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment.
Foster literacy education through interactive reading sessions and phonics activities.
Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum for students with special needs, including those with autism and other disabilities.
Participate in behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among students.
Provide individualized support during activities, ensuring each child receives the attention they need.
Engage in effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Contribute to the planning of educational outings and events that enhance the learning experience.

Experience

Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is highly valued.
Proven ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those requiring special education support.
Excellent communication skills to foster relationships with students, parents, and colleagues alike.

Lead or Assistant Teacher qualifications according to the Wisconsin Registry are required. xibtplm Assistant class must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
