Job Description: Position Summary Perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems on an advanced level while maintaining stock levels. Perform production functions safely within regulated environment.Primary DutiesPerform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Education, Training and ExperienceHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent3+ years of related experience as an Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician including knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Consistently upholds and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMérieux promotes.Detail orientation to complete tasks without errors and produce high-quality work.Organizing work and resources efficiently to ensure smooth issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.Ability to cooperate with others at all levels including leadership.Effective verbal communication skills.Skilled in MS Office tools to include but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.Basic: demonstrates fundamental awareness and can perform routine tasks with guidance.Ability to perform advanced to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures.Temporary modification to provide reasonable accommodations does not waive essential functions of the job requirements.Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (Summary)Ability to remain in a stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods.Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.Ability to operate heavy machinery: No.Domestic travel required: 0% of time.International travel required: 0% of time. The estimated salary range for this role is between $21.80 and $32.70 hourly in the state of Missouri. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux's bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate's experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
