Hematology/Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for ongoing outpatient locum coverage in New York. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule in a growing oncology program with strong clinical support and minimal inpatient responsibilities.

Assignment Details:

• Start: August 2026
• 6 9 month assignment
• Full-time coverage highly preferred

Schedule:

• Monday Friday
• 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• 1-hour lunch block
• No call
• Overtime available as needed

Practice Setting:

• Outpatient oncology clinic
• Acute care hospital affiliation
• Some inpatient consults as needed
• Epic EMR with AI charting support

Work Details:

• patients/day
• Growing Hematology/Oncology program
• Chemotherapy
• Immunotherapy
• Targeted therapy
• Hormone therapy

Support Staff:

• 1 onsite physician
• 1 NP
• 3 CNA/CMA staff members

Requirements:

• BC/BE Hematology/Oncology
• Active NY license required
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Recent Epic experience required
• Flexible and adaptable personality preferred

• Updated work history required
• Any malpractice history requires physician statement
