Computer Evidence Specialist (CES) is seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals between the ages of 16-20 to perform non-confrontational compliance checks for the FDA's Center for Tobacco Products Program. These inspections will be preformed at local tobacco retailers in Washington, DC. This is to ensure that retailers are abiding by federal regulations and not selling tobacco products to persons under the age of 21. Compliance inspections are conducted alongside a commissioned Investigator. This work is conducted on a part-time, case-volume basis with flexible scheduling. Duties/Responsibilities: Identify and verify the establishment information provided to you and the Investigator. Participate in non-confrontational compliance inspections by attempting to purchase a tobacco product; you should not attempt to be deceitful about your age. Underage Purchaser should dress in civilian clothes. Underage Purchaser should be okay with travelling alongside one of our commissioned Compliance Inspectors. Required qualifications/skills: 16 - 20 years old Must currently hold a valid Washington, DC issued ID and reside within the District. Attention to detail Strict adherence to deadlines and privacy Effective communication skills All Underage Purchasers will complete short online orientation session. Underage Purchaser will use valid identification and will not lie about their age. Pay of $21.00 to $22.00 per hr total compensation.
