Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our practice. The ideal candidate will assist with and manage real estate transactions and estate planning matters. We are open to newly licensed attorneys as well as experienced practitioners .
Responsibilities
Handle residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
Draft, review, and analyze real estate documents (purchase agreements, deeds, closing documents, etc.)
Prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Meet with clients to gather information and provide legal guidance
Maintain case files and ensure compliance with deadlines
Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, and other professionals
Manage matters independently or with supervision, depending on experience level
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar (or ability to become licensed promptly)
Interest in or experience with real estate law and/or estate planning
Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
Professional, client-centered approach
Experience
Entry-level attorneys are welcome; training and mentorship available
Experienced attorneys should demonstrate prior work in real estate transactions and/or estate planning
