Job Description: Job Description CNC Machine Operator - Third Shift CNC Operator - Third Shift Walor North America is looking for a CNC Operator to join its Machining team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of CNC Machinery with a high regard for effectiveness and efficiency. What you will doAdherence to federal, state and local laws and regulations, internal policies and other applicable rules including ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirementsContinuous improvement of work and activitiesFulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilitiesRepresent the company in a professional and respectful mannerMaintain confidentiality of proprietary informationAdherence to 5S principlesResponsible for print readingCMM operationAbility to use metrology equipmentAbility to change tooling offsets and monitor tool life and change cutting insertsMachine start up and shutdown Ability to operate CNC machineryRequired to properly fill out paperwork for shift reports, inspection cards, route cards etc.Ability to load and unload machineryPerform hourly parts inspectionsAdherence to compliance for the environment, safety and cleanliness guidelinesMaintain proper liquid levels and perform daily preventative maintenanceMaintain cleanliness and care of equipment and surroundingsPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor What you will bringHigh School Diploma or GEDBasic Math SkillsTechnical aptitudeExperience with metrology equipment (calipers, height gage, dial indicator etc.) preferredExperience working with metal preferred What is in it for you?
